I have been working on Heir of Elshyr for about a year, give or take. I started Lorrin's story with one teeny tiny idea that blossomed into something more and I obsessively worked my way through NaNoWriMo to get her done. Since then, I've been picking here and there; editing a scene here and taking out chapters there, adding dialogue and less internal stuff no one wants to see.

But at this point, I cannot look at my own words anymore, else I'll believe it's a masterpiece. SPOILER: It's not.

So this is where you come in, dear reader.

I need readers who know nothing about Lorrin, or not altogether that much about me either. And if you do know me, I apologize. But you have to learn how to be mean to me if you want to Beta read. Because I don't want anyone to gas me up. I know this manuscript needs heavy work, and I can't address what really needs to happen from the reader's perspective, as the author. It's just not possible.

A brief synopsis:

Lorrin Elshyr is a member of a prominent Surged Coven, one of four factions in the land of Elivanden. She grew up as the coven reject for something she can't remember doing, and years of neglect have left her jaded, disinterested in other's lives or their wellbeing. When human beings start popping up dead all around her, all eyes land on Lorrin. How does she prove herself innocent and prove she is not the evil one, but rather something else?
